The Careers Come Naturally event, hosted by Friends of Coastal SC, gave us the opportunity to introduce approximately 100 5th graders from Kensington Elementary (Georgetown County) to our RIVERKEEPER® Challenge youth water monitoring program.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) recent announcement that it will reconsider how it reviews and approves interstate gas pipelines holds great importance to the communities where our members live, work and play.

This message is being sent to Commissioners on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as well as members of Congress.

Stop Pesticides from Poisoning Our Waterways

Clean Water Act permits are legally required before pesticides are sprayed over and into waterways. Since pesticides are poisons designed to kill living organisms and many have known human health impacts, it makes sense that they should be treated as pollutants that need to be regulated under the Clean Water Act.
