We're excited to be partnering with the Yakkity Yakers, a group of civic-minded citizens who love to paddle on the Waccamaw River and beyond! This collaboration will enable us to offer more regular paddles, will provide additional stewards with eyes and ears on the river, and strengthens our resolve to protect our wonderful rivers resources! Thanks to Frank Eaton, Mark Coburn and all the Yakkity Yakers! Your love for the Waccamaw River and passion to preserve it makes each of you important environmental stewards and vital to our success!

Our partnership was launched on Saturday, August 13th with a Summer Splash paddle! Yakers led a large group from Chris Anderson Landing on Route 9 along the Waccamaw approximately 8 river miles to the take out at Big Savannah Landing off of Route 905. A great time was had by all!

Stay tuned for future paddles announced here or you can visit the Yakkity Yakers Facebook Page, or contact Mark Coburn directly, via email at markanddee2003@yahoo.com.
