Winyah Rivers Alliance’s Annual Photography Contest
Our Clean Water Team is pleased to announce the winners of our 2023 Photography Contest. This annual contest celebrates our fishable, swimmable, drinkable rivers and everyone who enjoys our rivers’ benefits!
Winners of this year’s photo contest were announced and presented with awards at our River Celebration on the Waccamaw event on October 28th, hosted at The Riverside Club in Conway.
Winning categories included:
FISHABLE – Photos capturing how our rivers provide for everyone. Photos of fishing, wildlife, and other interpretations were contributed;
SWIMMABLE – Photos capturing how we use our rivers for recreation. Photos of people enjoying the river and of our river landings were contributed;
DRINKABLE – Photos capturing the splendor of our surface waters. Photos of scenic landscapes – or waterscapes were contributed;
GEORGETOWN COUNTY – Photos demonstrating the water resources and culture of Georgetown County. Photos from throughout the county were contributed.

The winning photographs will be on a roadshow for several months and eventually be returned to the photographers for their bragging rights.
