Registration for the Rocky Point Patriot Run just got cheaper. Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Rocky Point Community Forest in Georgetown to honor our nation’s veterans and celebrate the natural beauty of the Black River.

Run it, walk it or bring the family
Choose the 10K, the 5K or the Kids Fun Run on the trails of Rocky Point Community Forest, which sits along the Black River and is part of the new Black River State Park. The race begins behind the Choppee Recreation Center at 8259 Choppee Road, Georgetown. Leashed dogs are welcome (runners with dogs start at the back), strollers are welcome, and there are no parking restrictions.
Packet pickup
Pick up your race packet at the Choppee Recreation Center on Friday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, or on race morning from 8:00 a.m.
Who is hosting
The Rocky Point Patriot Run is hosted by VFW Georgetown Memorial Post 6444, Winyah Rivers Alliance and Georgetown County Parks & Recreation. Proceeds benefit VFW-Georgetown and Georgetown County Parks & Recreation. A special thanks to Coastal Carolina National Bank for their support.
